I have big news! Proud Autistic is branching out into video! I’m now on YouTube for the world to view. As much as I prefer writing, the truth is that folks are more likely to watch videos than read blogs and newsletters. My goal is to reach as many autistic adults as possible with my message of autistic empowerment, so it was the natural next step.

Proud Autistic Coaching YouTube intro with blue background and the text "Live the empowered life you deserve!"

My Commitments for my YouTube channel:

  • Keeping it real- No clickbait. No fancy edits. Nothing flashy. Just me talking about my life and tips. And me learning as I go and being imperfect.

  • Unmasking - I will look and act like myself and wear comfortable clothes. I might even wear the same sweatshirt in every video. Should I sing a song to my “neighbors” while changing into it at the beginning of each video? And now I’m wondering if Mr. Rogers was autistic…hmmmm.

  • Anti-ableist - Just like my blog, I will keep my video content focused on autistic pride and healing from ableism, rather than anything that furthers ableist ideas about autism or other disabilities.

  • Actually Autistic - Of course I’m #actuallyautistic, but I plan for all guests also to be proudly autistic adults.

So please visit Proud Autistic Coaching on YouTube and subscribe! Send some likes and comments my way, too. And don’t forget to share. I’m excited to connect with everyone there!
